Guide to Bend Oregon Wineries

Vineyards may be hard to come by in Central Oregon, but there is no shortage of wineries, especially in Bend. And who doesn’t enjoy a glass of carefully selected wine when on vacation or spending time with friends?

Here you will find quite a variety of wine tasting experiences, from the laid-back, friendly atmosphere of Naked Winery to the wide selection of over 600 labels at The Wine Shop and Beer Tasting Bar.

Some of the winery owners have even managed to grow their vines through painstaking trial and error, overcoming the drastic temperature fluctuations that are common in the high desert area.

Want to see more of the Cascades and Central Oregon outside of Bend? We’ve also included a few wineries that are located within a short drive of Bend city limits.

Portello Winecafe

More than just a winery, Portobello Winecafe has been serving a full lunch and dinner menu as well as sweets that pair perfectly with their selection of wines and beers since 2006.

Plan your visit accordingly to take advantage of their specials during the week. Every Monday evening and Tuesday during lunch, the wines on their glass list are only $5 each. They also have Happy Hour deals Tuesday through Friday from 4-6 pm.

All of their wines on their glass and bottle menu are available to go as well. Ask about their special discount on wines to go and on purchases of 4+ bottles or case orders.

If you love their wine, you should consider their Club Naked membership. It offers benefits at three of their tasting rooms as well as on their website – for those times you can’t get there in person.

They currently have four tasting rooms in Central Oregon, including one in Bend’s Old Mill District, with plans to open another in Vancouver, Washington by the end of 2020.
